How Can I Tell If My Nose Is Broken?
Symptoms of a nasal fracture include:

- Swelling of the nose or nearby areas

- Bloody nose

How Long Does It Take For a Broken Nose To Heal?
Typically, a nasal fracture will heal within three weeks.
How Is a Nasal Fracture Treated?
If you seek treatment within 14 days, our ENT may be able to realign nasal bones and cartilage that have been displaced. After this procedure, your nose may be splinted with packing inside and a dressing outside. Your doctor will discuss how long these items should stay in place.
If you have a severe break or an injury that occurred more than 14 days ago, surgery may be necessary.
